In 2020, I battled the toughest fights of my life—Covid pneumonia. I was on ECMO-ventilation support for over 1.5 months and spent more than two months in the ICU. During that time, all I wanted was one thing—to breathe and to live. When I was finally discharged, even walking felt like an impossible task. It took me almost half a month just to regain the strength to stand on my own feet.
Now, almost 4.5 years later, I have traveled to Kashmir—the heaven on earth. I stood amidst snow-capped mountains, witnessing breathtaking views that filled my heart with peace and gratitude. This breathtaking experience was so different from the breathlessness I once endured. This time, it was not about gasping for air but about truly living and cherishing every moment.
I can never thank the doctors enough—the ones who took care of me, fought alongside me, and gave me a second chance at life. Their dedication and expertise saved not only me but also my family from an unbearable loss. I will always remain deeply grateful to them.
This journey has been a testament to resilience, hope, and the preciousness of life. And today, every breath I take feels like a gift.
Thanks and respect from the core of my heart again to Dr Arpan Chakraborty, Dr Dipanjan Chatterjee, Dr Hirak, Dr Saibal, Dr Rituparna & other doctors in the team. 🙏🏻
